How to import GPS maps to iPhone

Original Map Source: Cyclopath

  1. buy MotionX for iPhone (it's just a few bucks)
  2. go to cyclopath
  3. map your route
  4. go to Route Details tab
  5. click AS GPX
  6. save the file
  7. go to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input
  8. upload the file into a Browse option
  9. select GPX
  10. click CONVERT
  11. Save output file as *.gpx
  12. Email to gpsimport@motionx.com
  13. A reply email will be sent back to you
  14. open it in iPhone and follow instructions


Original Map Source: Google Maps

  1. buy MotionX for iPhone (it's just a few bucks)
  2. go to google maps
  3. map your route
  4. click the LINK option in upper right
  5. copy the link
  6. go to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input
  7. paste the google maps link into the URL line
  8. select GPX
  9. click CONVERT
  10. Save output file as *.gpx
  11. Email to gpsimport@motionx.com
  12. A reply email will be sent back to you
  13. open it in iPhone and follow instructions
